Fang suddenly felt a pull, almost a compulsion. He walked in the direction of some bright lights.

When Fang awoke hours later, he found himself...somewhere different. That was the only way to describe it. The air felt much more...pure, nature surrounded him, there were no city sounds.

Fang rolled his eyes and pushed her off (none too gently). "Dang. I really don't need this right now," He muttered, looking around. "Where the heck are we?"

"Great! Even more wonderful!" Fang exploded, looking dangerously angry. He turned on Yuki, shading his eyes. "You're like a freakin' ray of sunshine! It's bugging me to death!"

Yuki made those sad anime eyes as tears came in them. She turned around so he wouldn't see and walked off into the dark perolous forest.

Reluctantly he followed. If they were going to get out of here, he was smart enough to know they had their best chance if they stuck together. Though he left a large gap in between them. His charcoal-black eyes scanned the shadowy woods, searching for trouble. A merlin swooped towards him. He ducked, and it landed on his shoulder, gripping it with its talons. Fang glared at the bird. It glared right back and wouldn't budge.

Yuki wasn't even paying attention to her surroundings. An axe flew at her but barely missed and she still didnt notice. She was mad and upset at Fang and quite frankly was about to give up on him. She let out an exasperated sigh before putting up a mask. A mask she hadnt used in a long time.

Fang and the bird continued their stare-down. The bird seemed intent on making Fang even more angry. "You might want to be careful, an aze just flew past your head," Fang informed Yuki, still looking at the hitchhiker on his shoulder.

Fang shrugged and flicked his hair out of his face, deciding to try to ignore the merlin perched on his shoulder. Finally he said, "You know anything about birds?"

She stuck her hand towards the bird and watched as it slowly manuvured its way to her shoulder. "There. Better?" she asked annoyedly at him.
